On Uber Eats, there are a variety of ways an order can be delivered: - A delivery person using the Uber Eats platform can pick up the order from your store and bring it to the customer. - A member of your staff can deliver it to the customer. - A customer can pick up their food at your store.
When signing up, you can choose to use any combination of the following delivery options. Please keep in mind, each delivery option has a different pricing model (once you sign your contract, that contract will have the final pricing):

For restaurants that prefer to use their own drivers for Uber Eats orders, you will have the option of tapping into the network of delivery people who use the Uber Eats platform. This means that when an order comes in, we will assume your own drivers will be used and delivery people using the Uber Eats platform will not handle the order. If you need assistance in delivering the order because all of your drivers are out/busy, you may select the option in Uber Eats Orders to use a delivery person on the Uber Eats platform.
