The Uber app allows you to track the accumulated amount of time you spend online (if you are a Staffing Agency courier) and driving (if you are an Independent Contractor).
“Online” time includes any time the app is set to “online.”
“Driving” time includes all the time that you are online and moving (even when you’re not delivering an order), and all the time from when you accept an order until you drop the order off at the destination. If you go offline or are online but stopped (waiting for an order at a restaurant, for example), that time will not be counted.
For your safety and the safety of others, the app may let you know when it thinks you need a rest. Local regulations may also apply, so be sure to familiarize yourself with any restrictions for the area where you drive.
