Taking cash trips

• When cash payments are an option, the Partner App will let you know before the trip begins that the Rider will pay in cash.
• If a Rider suggests paying in cash for a digital billed trip, remember:
• You’re not required to accept cash in these situations.
• If this happens, politely explain to the Rider that Uber’s rules don’t allow cash payments for trips requested with digital payment.

Automatic deductions for digital payments

How do digital ayments work?

• For trips with digital payment, the fare is automatically charged to the payment method the rider has linked to their Uber account.
