Offers in Ads Manager

Offers is a feature that allows advertisers and merchants to create and manage marketing campaigns effectively. The feature aims to provide users with the ability to drive towards various marketing goals such as increasing sales, acquiring new customers, and expanding reach.

There are 3 offer types that exist within Ads Manager:

Storewide discount offer

The “storewide discount offer” in Ads Manager allows advertisers to create campaigns that apply discounts across an entire store. You can start a campaign by selecting “Create Storewide Discount” in the Create Campaign tab of Uber Ads Manager.

When setting up the offer, you can define the amount and spend and redemption value per order:

  • Amount: The amount represents the % off basket value the user wants to offer to customers. For example, if the merchant selects 30%, then the eater will get 30% off on their basket.

  • Minimum Spend: This refers to the minimum basket size or order total that the % off offer will be applied on. The user can select from 4 pre-determined options: $10, $15, $20, $25

  • Max Redemption Value: the user can input an optional ‘Max Redemption value’ which is the max amount of discount that an eater could get from this offer campaign. For example, if an offer constructs 30% off on a minimum basket size of $15, with a max discount of $50.

Additionally, the storewide discount offers can be set for a specific campaign duration but cannot exceed 180 days. Once these parameters are inputted, the user can click ‘Submit’. This will allow them to review the campaign before confirming it and launching it.

Spend More Save More

The “Spend More Save More” offer in Ads Manager allows advertisers to create campaigns that apply discounts depending on tiering of the order value. You can start a campaign by selecting “Spend More Save More” in the Create Campaign tab of Uber Ads Manager.

When setting up the offer, you can define location targeting as well as offer amount:

  • Spend $10, Save $2
  • Spend $15, Save $3
  • Spend $20, Save $5
  • Spend $30, Save $8
  • Spend $40, Save $11

The campaign will start at 12:00am and end at 11:59pm (in the timezone local to each store) on the dates selected. Offers may not run longer than 180 days.

Free Delivery offer

The “Free Delivery” offer in Ads Manager allows advertisers to create campaigns that apply the discount on the entire order delivery fee. You can start a campaign by selecting “Free Delivery” in the Create Campaign tab of Uber Ads Manager.

The targeting parameters include location selection and duration of the offer promotion. The campaign will start at 12:00am and end at 11:59pm (in the timezone local to each store) on the dates selected.

Offers may not run longer than 180 days. The minimum basket size is set automatically by Uber.
