You can schedule a ride up to 90 days in advance with a Taxi Reserve request, and the request can be canceled without charge up to 1 hour before the start of the ride.
Riders can cancel a Taxi Reserve trip an hour before the trip starts, and it will not be charged for any fare.
However, you will be responsible for the cancellation fee if the request is canceled within an hour of the scheduled start time. The cancellation fee will be NT$150 for Uber Taxi.
Since our partner fleets utilize the system to do their best to pre-match you with a driver, we recommend drivers arrive 5 minutes early for reserved rides (compared to standard trips) to ensure your trip departs on time. Therefore, when the driver has arrived and “waits for more than 5 minutes”, you have to pay the cancellation fee whether the trip is canceled by you or the driver. This fee compensates the driver for their time and effort.
