WHAT IS UBER ASSIST?
Uber Assist is an option for those who need additional assistance on a trip. This product is great for older people, riders travelling with assistance animals, those who have visual or hearing impairments, or riders with foldable wheelchairs.
Every Assist driver has completed a disability equality training course delivered by Associação Salvador. Drivers can also help load and unload assistive devices that can fit into the car boot once folded or disassembled.
Note: Uber ASSIST vehicles do not have accessible ramps or lifts.
HOW DO I REQUEST AN UBER ASSIST RIDE?
To request a Uber Assist trip, please follow the next steps:
1. Enter your pickup and destination location
2. Slide up through the vehicle options
3. Select Assist
4. Request trip
