What are Uber One credits?

Uber One credits are earned as cashback by members and can be used to pay the trip fare on future trips

How to view, earn and use Uber One credits

Viewing Uber One credits

  1. Go to the ‘Wallet’ tab in the ‘Account’ section of the Uber app.
  2. Select ‘Uber Balances’ to see your Uber One credit balance.

Note: Uber One credits are non-transferable to other Uber accounts or external wallets/banks.

Earning Uber One credits

  • You can earn Uber One credits on eligible trips (marked with the Uber One icon)
  • Uber One credits are restricted to INR 150 per trip and limited to 600 rides for the 12 month plan and 150 rides for all other plans
  • Uber One credits expire 60 days after being earned
  • Uber One credits cannot be accrued on fare portions already paid with Uber One credits

Using Uber One credits

Uber One credits auto-apply on trips, redeemable for up to 100% of the ride fare. You can toggle them off under ‘Payment options’ while booking a ride. Existing Uber One credits will be applied first on a trip, followed by any available promos.

Cashback Calculation

Uber One credits are calculated on the final trip fare, excluding components like taxes, tolls, airport charges and promos.

Example: On a trip fare of INR 100, there can be INR 5 for tolls, INR 5 paid with Uber One credits, and INR 10 discount from other promos. Here, the final cashback eligibility fare would become INR 80 (INR 100 - INR 5 - INR 5 - INR 10). The Uber One credits given would be INR 8 (10% of INR 80).
