Your order may be canceled by the merchant or delivery person. Here’s why that might happen.
Merchant cancellations
Merchants may cancel orders if:
If a merchant runs out of an item, you may receive an app notification requesting you to update your order. If the order isn’t updated within 10 minutes, it’ll be canceled.
In the scenarios above, you won’t be charged if the merchant cancels your order.
However, in case you asked the merchant to cancel the order on your behalf and the merchant already started preparing the food, you will be charged for the order.
Delivery person cancellations
Delivery people may cancel orders if:
If the delivery person made a reasonable effort to contact you after arriving at your delivery address, you may not be eligible for a refund.
