What is Shuttle?

Uber Shuttle is a service that runs on fixed routes and schedules between designated pick-up and drop-off locations. You can reserve up to 3 days before your intended travel date for yourself and up to three other riders to travel in a high-quality, safe shuttle. You can book up to 2 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

All riders 2 years or older require a ticket and to be seated with a seat belt. Up to one rider per guardian 2 years or under may travel for free.

Ticket Fare Structure

Uber Shuttle fares are fixed based on the route and number of seats you select. They are not subject to surge pricing.

Payment for your Shuttle must be made via the Uber app. Cash is not accepted on board the Shuttle, and it is not possible to board the Shuttle without prior reservation.

Some sales taxes are applied to certain cities.

Luggage allowance on Shuttle

The below allowance is included in your ticket’s fare:

Each rider is permitted to bring on board:

  • One piece of luggage (carry-on or checked luggage) weighing up to 45lbs/20.5kg.
  • One personal item which must fit on your lap or under your seat.

To bring additional pieces of luggage, you must book extra seats for additional luggage. This helps our drivers accommodate you better and prevents any issues during the trip.

Booking trips

You can view schedules and seat availability in the Uber app. Up to 4 seats can be reserved up to 3 days in advance. By booking in advance, you ensure your seat is reserved for your trip. Seats can fill up fast, so be sure to reserve early!

To book a shuttle in the Uber app

You can book Uber Shuttle 2 ways:

From the Home tab:

  1. Enter your destination in Where to?
  2. Select the Uber Shuttle option
  3. Select your preferred pickup time and how many seats you need (up to 4 per booking)
  4. Review your fare
  5. Select Confirm to reserve your Shuttle

From the Services tab:

  1. Select the Shuttle icon
  2. Enter your destination
  3. Select your preferred pickup time and how many seats you need (up to 4 per booking)
  4. Select Confirm to reserve your Shuttle

Once you make a reservation in the app

  • You’ll receive a ticket with a QR code and a unique PIN. Your driver will scan your code as you board the shuttle and may also ask for your unique PIN 5 minutes before the trip starts. Your driver will scan your code as you board the shuttle.
  • You can track your shuttle and view the pickup location on the Uber app’s home screen 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. The pickup location will be shown on the map.

Editing your booking

To modify shuttle bookings, you’ll need to cancel your scheduled trip and book a new one. You will not be charged for shuttle cancellations.

To cancel a booking

  1. Go to Activity in the Uber app.
  2. Select the trip you want to cancel.
  3. Cancel the reservation.
  4. You may now make a new reservation by selecting the Shuttle icon on the home screen of the Uber app.

If you can’t make your booking, please cancel as soon as possible to open your seat for someone else.

Trip or booking issues

Forgot to book a seat?

You can make a reservation up to 2 minutes before departure, as long as the shuttle has seats available.

Finding routes, stops and scheduled times

All available routes, stops, and scheduled times can be found in the Shuttle section of the Uber app.

To view routes and schedules in the app:

  1. Select the Shuttle icon on the Uber Home screen
  2. Enter your pickup and dropoff locations
  3. You’ll see a list of all available routes between your locations

Cancellations or Delays

Uber Shuttle operates on a frequent schedule, and while cancellations or delays are rare, they can occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Please check the app for the next available Shuttle.

Shuttle Breakdown

Your security is always the priority, and we aim to provide an experience where users always feel safe. In case of a breakdown, we recommend checking the app for the next available shuttle or considering alternative transportation options if needed. You can contact Uber support by selecting Help > Uber Shuttle > Airport Shuttle support.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

If you want to request a WAV vehicle, please request the Fleet Partner phone number via Uber support by selecting Help > Uber Shuttle > Airport Shuttle support.

Schedule your trip 24 hours in advance. The Fleet Partner will confirm the time and availability for you to be picked up – from your Uber app, book the designated pickup time the Fleet Partner tells you to book.

Lost items

If you need assistance with lost items or any other issues, please contact Uber support by selecting Help > Uber Shuttle > Airport Shuttle Support.

Animal/Pet on Shuttle?

  • Service animals are permitted to travel on board the Shuttle.
  • Pets are not allowed on board.
