How Do I Book a Flight Ticket Through the Uber App?
To book a flight ticket through the Uber app, follow these steps:
- Open the Uber app and tap on the ‘Flights’ option.
- Enter your departure and destination airports, along with your preferred travel dates.

- Review your selection, add passenger details, and confirm your booking.
- Complete the payment process to finalise your reservation.
How to cancel a booking
Canceling Your Flight
To cancel your flight, follow these steps:
- Open the Uber app and go to the “Uber Travel” section.
- Find your booking and click on the flight to view detailed information.
- Click the “Cancel Flight” button to initiate the cancellation.
For some bookings, you can cancel directly in the app. For others, you may need to contact the airline directly. Be sure to check the airline’s specific cancellation policy and terms and conditions.

Cancel For Any Reason Service
If you’ve purchased the ‘Cancel For Any Reason’ add-on, this service is provided and managed by our partner, Hopper. Here’s how it works:
What’s Covered:
- You can cancel your flight up to 3 hours before your first scheduled departure. You’ll receive a future travel credit from the airline worth 100% of your ticket price.
- Hopper will cover any rebooking fees charged by the airline.
- If the airline does not offer a future travel credit, Hopper will refund the amount covered under your service.
How to Cancel:
- Open the Uber app and tap on your trip.
- Select “Cancel flight for any reason,” review the cancellation details, and tap “Confirm cancellation.”
- Alternatively, you can start the process by clicking the “Cancel my Flight” link in the “Your Cancel For Any Reason with Uber Flights” email you received upon purchase.
Refund Processing:
Refunds are processed back to your original form of payment and typically take 3 to 5 business days to complete. Future travel credit is available immediately. You can start a chat with Uber Flights Support to redeem it.

- The cost of the Cancel For Any Reason service varies depending on your trip, but pricing will always be displayed before you complete your purchase in the app.

How to change a booking
To change your flight, contact the Uber Flights Customer Service team using the information provided at the top of this page.
Important Information:
- Fees: Most airlines charge fees for changing your itinerary. If your booking is eligible, you may need to pay both the airline’s change fee and any fare difference between your original and new flights. These costs will be shown to you before you confirm the changes and can also be viewed in your trip details.
- Processing Time: Please allow at least 24 hours for our team to process your flight change request. If you choose to make changes directly with the airline within this 24-hour period, additional fees may apply. Uber Flights is not responsible for any extra charges from the airline.
- Last-Minute Changes: If you need to change your flight within 24 hours of departure or if you booked with a low-cost carrier like EasyJet or Ryanair, please contact the airline directly.
Change For Any Reason Service:
If you’ve purchased the ‘Change For Any Reason’ add-on, this service is provided and managed by our partner, Hopper. Here’s how it works:
What’s Covered:
- You can change your flight with any airline before your original outbound or return flight departs.
- Hopper covers up to 100% of the original ticket price.
- Your new flight can be booked within one year of your original departure date.
Costs for Your New Flight:
- If your new flight costs more than your original one, you’ll only need to pay the fare difference.
- If the new flight is less expensive, there’s no extra cost.
- Please note that seats, baggage, and other airline extras are non-transferable and aren’t covered under this service.
How to Change Your Flight:
- Open the Uber app and tap on your trip.
- Select “Change flight for any reason” and choose the flight(s) you want to change.
- Follow the steps to book your new flight.
