How to use Uber Cash?

In case you want to use this payment method, first make sure you have enough credits in Uber Cash. If you do, follow these steps:

1. Select your destination.
2. Select your payment method, you can see it bellow the vehicle categories.
3. If you have more than one profile, touch “change”, bellow the profile you want to use.
4. Select “Uber Cash”.

After this, your trip will be charged on Uber Cash.

How do I add Uber Cash to my account?

You can add Uber Cash credits with the following payment methods: - Credit and debit cards. - PayPal. - Authorized points of sale (virtual or physical).

To purchase credits through your app:

1. Locate “Wallet” inside the menu.
2. Choose the amount you wish to add.
3. Select a payment method.
4. Clic “Confirm”.

It’s also posible to get Uber Cash credits through our support channels. For example, when your Driver doesn’t have change when paying for a trip in cash, you can choose to receive the remaining amount on credits.

You can also receive Uber Cash through promotions, such as Amex Benefit, Uber Benefits and more.

Your Uber Cash balance is not transferable to other Users, meaning it’s always available in the account it was acquired.

How do i change a payment method for Uber Cash?

If you already payed for a trip with another payment method, but you wanted to use Uber Cash, follow these steps:

1. Open your app and select the profile icon.
2. Clic on “Trips”.
3. Select the trip that you wish.
4. Go to “Help”.
5. Choose “Previous trip”.
6. Select “How to change the payment method for this trip”.
7. Now click on “Uber Cash”.
