Connecting your Uber account to your SkyMiles® account allows you to earn on eligible Uber rides and Uber Eats orders.
You must have a Delta SkyMiles® account. If you’re not a Delta SkyMiles® member, you can sign up for free here. When you’re ready to start earning, you can link your account from the Uber app. To do this:
Once you’ve linked your account and selected “Delta SkyMiles®” as your Earning Partner, you just need to make a Qualifying Transaction according to the Delta Program Terms.
You will only need to link your Delta SkyMiles account with Uber once. When you link through either the Uber Eats or Uber app, you’ll be ready to start earning across both rides and Uber Eats. You can only earn points or miles with one loyalty partner at a time; if you are earning with another partner and would like to switch your active Earning Partner to Delta, navigate to the Settings section of your app and then, under Partner Rewards, check to confirm.
You can use your miles toward travel to 1,000+ destinations, a Delta Vacations® package, cars and hotels booked through Delta, or for day of travel perks like seat upgrades and checked bags. Terms and conditions apply. Learn more about how to use miles with Delta. the Delta SkyMiles Program here.
No, not all rides are eligible to earn. While you can earn miles on qualifying rides and orders, including restaurant and grocery orders, UberX trips to the airport, Premium Rides, and rides booked ahead of time with Uber Reserve, there are some rides that are not eligible. These include trips taken on Family Profiles or Teen accounts, along with rides booked through the Guest Rides feature. Other terms apply. Please review the full Delta Program Terms here.
While you are able to link to both programs, you will need to choose which partner you want to earn with by making them your Earning Partner in the App. You can only earn points or miles with one loyalty partner at a time.
You will only earn on the portion of the Qualifying Transaction (as defined in the Delta & Uber program terms) that is actually attributed (i.e. charged) to your Uber account. The earn status of other riders will only be considered for the portion of the Qualifying Transaction that is actually attributed to their respective Uber account(s). For example, if you split a fare with a friend, each of you will earn only on the portion of the fare you paid for, respectively, not the total ride amount.
