How are tolls paid?

Tolls for Trips with Riders:
When your vehicle is charged a qualifying toll during a trip, the amount is automatically added to your fare. These tolls are charged to riders and reimbursed to you from the rider, as detailed to you on the Earnings tab of your driver app.

If a toll charges less for vehicles with electric passes than for vehicles paying with cash, we will initiate a reimbursement from the rider for the lower of the two.

Express lanes and optional toll roads will not automatically be added to the rider's trip fare and thus will not be paid to you.

Tolls for Delivery Trips:
The Driver app will automatically recognize when you go through toll roads and you'll receive the toll amount in your earnings statement. If you don't see a toll charge appear in your weekly trip earnings, you can reach out to Uber support.
