Please note that if you have a Uber Eats account with the same sign-up information, both Eats and Rides accounts will be deleted.

Delete my Uber account

Uber will ask you to verify your identity with a temporary verification code before you delete your account. In this case, you may need the phone number associated with your account.

If you have an outstanding payment in your account, you need to clear the outstanding balance before deleting your account.

I can’t clear an outstanding payment

NOTE:

• Your Uber account will be immediately deactivated and be permanently deleted after 30 days.
• Deleting your account will also permanently remove any credit, promotions, or rewards linked to your account.
• If you change your mind and decide to keep your account, you can restore it within 30 days of deactivation by signing in to the app.
• Uber may retain certain information after account deletion as required or permitted by law.
