Uber Reserve is a product that allows you to book a trip maximum 90 days and minimum 30 minutes in advance and includes additional waiting times for more flexibility, paying an extra booking fee.
You can schedule your trips for important occasions with the certainty of knowing that you will have a Driver Partner at your door at the selected time.
HOW DO I REQUEST AN UBER RESERVE TRIP?
To request a reservation, open your Uber App and follow these steps:
Once you confirm those details, you can use the “Reserve” section of the app to view or update your existing reservation details or create new reservations.
WHERE IS UBER RESERVE AVAILABLE?
You can request reservations in many of the areas where scheduled rides are already available. This feature is expanding to new cities every month.
Uber Reserve is not available for destinations outside the Uber App service area in the city.
HOW DOES THE PRICING WORK?
When you make a reservation, the amount you see will be an estimate that includes a variable reservation fee. The exact amount of the reservation fee will depend on the pickup location and time associated with the reservation.
CAN I CANCEL OR UPDATE A RESERVATION ALREADY CREATED?
You can cancel a reservation free of charge up to one hour prior to the start of the trip. If the reservation is cancelled less than 60 minutes before the scheduled start time and a Driver Partner has already been assigned, you may be assessed a cancellation fee due to the time and effort the Driver Partner took to be available for you at the scheduled time.
You can use the “Reserve” section of the app to cancel, or review your upcoming reservations at any time.
WHAT OTHER FEATURES MAKE A TRIP WITH UBER RESERVE SPECIAL?
Arrive early and wait:
The Driver Partner will arrive a few minutes early at the pick-up point and wait up to 5 minutes after the scheduled pick-up for Comfort, UberX and UberXL trips; and up to 15 minutes for Black and Black SUV trips.
On-Time Pickup Guarantee:
If a Driver Partner is late for a reservation, you will automatically receive an Uber Cash balance to use for another trip or delivery.
Advance Assigned Driver Partner:
When possible, a Driver Partner will accept your trip request prior to your pick-up time, you will be notified when they accept your trip request, so you have greater certainty.
Enhanced Scheduled Trip Pricing:
All reservations will be priced in advance, which includes a reservation fee.
