The main differentiator is that, by purchasing the bundle, the user locks in a price for these trips.
Key features of the Prepaid Pass:
Upfront trip Purchase: The user pays for a set number of trips all at once.
Fixed Price Per Trip within the Bundle: The biggest advantage is that the user doesn’t need to worry about surge pricing for the trips included in their pass. The price per trip is already set at the time of purchase.
For specific routes and times: The pass is linked to a predefined route and, typically, a daily time window during which it is valid.
Benefits of predictability and savings: It’s ideal for those who frequently travel the same route, like commuting to and from work, as it guarantees a stable cost and potential savings over time.
Validity: The pass has a validity period (e.g., 4 or 8 weeks, according to the purchased bundle).
Payment Method: You can use any digital payment method accepted by Uber to buy your Pre-Paid Pass, including Uber Cash or Uber One credits. Cash payments are not available yet.
