Setting uberTaxi gratuity

Your rider account has a default setting to include a 20% tip for uberTaxi.

You can adjust your account’s default tip for uberTaxi to any percentage between 0 and 30%. In order for your adjusted percentage to apply to a current trip, please make any changes before the trip ends.

To adjust your default tip percentage before the trip ends:

1. On riders.uber.com/trips, click “Wallet”.
2. Select your preferred tip percentage from the drop-down menu.

This gratuity will only be applied to uberTaxi rides.
