As part of a promotional campaign, Uber may offer a promotion code so that you can enjoy discounted trips.
To learn how to enter your promo code into the app, please follow the steps below. Always make sure to enter your promo code before requesting your ride.
To enter your promo code:
- Select “Wallet” from the app menu
- Scroll down to “Promotions”
- Tap “Add Promo Code”
- Enter your promo code and tap “Add”
To review your promo code:
- Select “Wallet” from the app menu
- Scroll down and tap on “Promotion”
NOTE:
- Enter a promo code BEFORE requesting a ride. The entered promo code will be automatically redeemed when you start a ride. Discounted trip price can be viewed after the ride completes.
- NOTE: The Promo code will not be redeemed if you enter AFTER requesting a ride.
- In case you cancel a ride, the promo code will be counted as redeemed.
- Only one promo code can be redeemed for each ride. Multiple promo codes cannot be redeemed together for a single ride.
- If you have multiple promo codes, it is not possible to choose your preferred promo code.
- The most valuable promo code will be automatically redeemed first. If two or more promo codes have the same discount rate, the newest promo code will be redeemed first.
- Every promo code has a specific expiration date and time. Please check the expiration date before requesting your ride.
- NOTE: Uber has the right to update or end a promotion without notification. The expired promotion will be deleted automatically.
- Some promo codes are only eligible in a certain area, city, payment type and/or product. Please check where your promo code is eligible before requesting your ride.
- Promo codes will not apply to Uber for Business, Family or Business account trips.
- Promo codes will not apply to the trips with Apple Pay.
