How to add a Gift card to your account

Gift cards add Uber credits to your Uber account. To redeem a gift card:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Uber app.
2. Tap on Account at the bottom right corner and open the Wallet section.
3. Tap + Gift card under Uber Cash.
4. Enter your gift card pin (alpha-numberic) and click Save.

Once a gift card is added to your Uber account, you can view the balance under Uber Cash. You can add as many gift cards as you like with each upto a maximum of INR 10,000.

How to use Gift card balance

1. Enter your destination
2. Tap the payment method info at the bottom of the screen
3. If you have more than one payment method, tap Change payment method
4. Toggle off Uber Cash if you don’t want to use Uber credits

The Gift Card credits may be used within India only for eligible products, and in accordance with Uber’s terms and conditions. The Gift Card credits cannot be used for Uber Auto product.

If your credits aren’t completely used up, the remaining balance can be applied to your next eligible ride. Please ensure the usage of Uber credits is toggled on under payment section under menu.

How to view current Gift card balance

Gift cards add Uber credits to an Uber account. To check your credit balance:

1. Tap the Account at the bottom right corner and go to Wallet
2. You should see your credit balance under Gift Cards
