What is the CA Driver Benefit Fee?

The CA Driver Benefits fee, implemented on December 14th, 2020, helps us fund the new benefits offered to drivers; thanks to the passing of Prop 22. These benefits include:

• A healthcare stipend to help cover the cost of their insurance plan
• Additional insurance coverage in case they become injured in an accident
• A minimum earnings guarantee to ensure they make at least 120% of the minimum wage for their active time

With Prop 22, drivers and delivery people now have what they’ve been asking for: continued flexibility, plus the benefits they want and deserve.
