What is Uber Planet?

Uber Planet is a new product option in the Uber App that is available for all cities in Mexico.

With Uber Planet you can go to all your destinations while offsetting the carbon footprint generated on the journey with an extra contribution to the final fare of your trip.

We made an alliance with Anaconda Carbon, a company that will be in charge of measuring, mitigating and compensating the carbon footprint produced by the requested trips, through the purchase of carbon bonds for sustainable projects within our country.

Carbon credits acquired through Uber Planet through Anaconda will support conservation projects certified and supported by the United Nations.

How does it work?

1. Enter the Uber App.
2. Choose “Uber Planet”, the new product that allows you to travel and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time.
3. For each kilometer traveled, you will contribute an additional 0.37 MXN to support sustainable projects in our country, through the purchase of carbon credits.
