What's in your Uber data download?

Depending on how you use Uber, your data may vary. Your data download may include the following:

ACCOUNT AND PROFILE DATA
Your account and profile data will include information such as:
- Profile information such as your name and email address, mobile number, rating, and the date you signed up for Uber
- Payment methods such as the date you created and updated a payment method, the bank name and billing country, and type of card (Visa, debit, etc.)
- Device data such as carrier, operating system, model number, Uber app version, and the last 30 days of location data

UBER RIDER DATA
Your rider data includes information such as your trip history and location data used to get you to your destination:
- Trip details such as times and locations at which a trip was requested, started, and ended, as well as trip fares and distance traveled
- Referral code(s) issued by Uber
- Support conversations with Uber
- Call and SMS data between driver and rider (sent messages only)

UBER EATS DATA
Your Uber Eats data includes order details and your favorite restaurants:
- Order history, including restaurant names, items ordered, and delivery details
- Referral code(s) issued by Uber
- Support conversations with Uber
- Call and SMS data between delivery partner and customer (sent messages only)

UBER DRIVER DATA
Most of your driver data, as described below, is already available in the partner portal for you to access and download right away:
- Trip history, including times and locations a trip started and ended, as well as how much you earned
- Driver documents, such as driver's license, car insurance, tax information, and payment statements

The following information is not currently included in the partner portal but is included in your data download:
- Driver rating and device data such as operating system, Uber app version, and the last 30 days of location data
- Support conversations with Uber
- Call and SMS data between driver and rider (sent messages only)

What's not included in your data download?

Some information is reasonably not included in your data download. This can be for security reasons or because the information is proprietary. We also do not include information containing the personal data of another party that we can't reasonably exclude (for example, content in support tickets, email exchanges with Uber, and messages between riders and drivers).

Below is a list of the type of information not included in the download for each account type, along with the reason why it is not included.

ACCOUNT AND PROFILE DATA
Highly personal data that you have provided to us such as Social Security number, mailing address, and bank account and credit card details are not included in your download. We exclude this data for your personal security. Location data is only included from the past 30 days to reduce the size of your download and allow us to provide your data as quickly as possible.

UBER RIDER DATA
Messages received from drivers are not included for their personal security. Names and addresses of places you've saved are not included due to technical and legal limitations. Information such as estimated arrival time, pricing calculations, and details about marketplace-driven promotional discounts are not included in the download for proprietary reasons.

UBER EATS DATA
For security reasons, delivery partners and Eats customers only receive the messages they sent. Favorite restaurants and saved delivery addresses are not included due to technical and legal limitations. Delivery fee calculations and promotional discount details are not included in the download for proprietary reasons.

UBER DRIVER DATA
Messages received from riders are not included for their personal security. Marketplace dynamics and dispatch details are not included for proprietary reasons.
