How does the delivery charge work on Uber Eats?
These fees are part of the delivery charge and may include:
Delivery fee
This fee varies based on your location. You pay less for nearby restaurants and you’ll always know how much before selecting a restaurant.
Service fee
Equals 10% of your order’s subtotal. There’s a €1.60 minimum, but it’s never more than €3.50.
Marketplace fee
The Marketplace Fee is a percentage of the order with a cap amount. Due to this amount may vary, you must check the exact amount in the app during the checkout and in the restaurant menu details, and it’s calculated before any promotions or discounts.
This fee will be notified in advance on the restaurant’s menu in the app, before placing the order and on your email order once completed. This fee applies to merchants that deliver their own orders, and it’s being implemented to cover connection services (like credit card taxes, technology maintenance, etc).
