Uber One expiration date and Automatic Renewal
Uber One membership is automatically renewed, and if you do not wish to renew, you must request non-renewal at least 48 hours before the next renewal date. You can check the billing date (expiration date) by following the steps below.
- Tap “Account”
- Tap “Uber One”
- Check the next billing date (expiration date)
Uber One Pause Functionality
Instead of canceling your Uber One membership, you can take a break for two months at most as the functionality is going to be implemented
- Tap “Account” at the bottom of the app and tap “Uber One”
- Select “Manage membership” then “End membership” and “Want to take a break” on the survey. Tap “Continue”
- Select either 1 month or 2 months, and tap “Pause Uber One”
- Check the renewal date on Uber One page by tapping “Manage Uber One”
Note:
- You can use the Pause Functionality 4 times between January and December of the year at most
- Billing will stop; however, Uber One benefits will stop as well during the pause period
- You can renew your membership at any time. In that case, you can continue Uber One with the same payment method prior to the pause period.
- After the pause period, Uber One automatically restarts and so does billing.
- Pause period starts at the end of your current billing cycle.
Auto-payment-functionality for Uber One membership with another payment method
If we’re having trouble renewing your Uber One membership with your default payment method, we may try to process your payment again using one of the other options saved on your account to keep your benefits.
You can toggle this function “On and Off” at any time from the “Uber One” of the app.
- Tap “Account” at the bottom of the app
- Tap “Uber One”
- Tap “Manage membership”
- Toggle “On” and “Off” for Additional Payment Methods
