** NOTE ** Uber Eats is officially Taiwan local entity on February 1st, 2021. To comply with Taiwan’s laws and regulation, Uber Eats and the merchant partners including restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacy stores shall issue sales receipts (depending on the individual contract) in the following two ways: only if the merchant partners who are exempted from the use of government uniform invoices, Merchant partners shall issue a government uniform invoice stating the purchasing goods and amount. The delivery fee / service fee or other fees charged by Uber Eats shall also be issued a government uniform invoice (e.g. Subscription fee) by Uber Eats to the customers as well.
Users will be able to download the e-invoice within 24 - 48 hours after the order is completed. The invoice will be uploaded to the MoF E-invoice platform and automatically enrolled in the national invoice lottery held every 2 months.

In addition, you can now link your carrier directly in the Uber Eats app. Please follow the steps below:
Please make sure the “Invoice Details” checkbox remains selected to ensure your chosen carrier is successfully applied to your order. If you do not make a selection, Uber Eats will issue an invoice to your member carrier. Please remember to proceed to the E-Invoice Platform later to complete the consolidation process.
Please note that some merchants have not yet enabled the carrier feature. If the merchant does not support this function, the invoice will be issued in print or electronic format.
