It’s possible to switch your payment method if you meant to use Uber Cash on a previous order. Your Uber Cash balance must be greater than or equal to the full price of the order to switch.
To switch your payment method on a previous trip:
- Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner of your app.
- Choose “Your Trips.”
- Select the trip you want to switch the payment method on.
- Under “Need help with this trip?” find the switch payment method box and tap “Edit payment.”
- Check “Switch Payment Method for the trip” and tap next.
- Select “Uber Cash” and tap “Next/Submit.”
To switch your payment method on a previous order:
- Tap “Order”
- Choose the order in question, then “Get Help”
- Select “Change Payment Method”
- Select Uber Cash and then “Submit”
