If you’re unable to access the Uber Driver App, here are the most common reasons and what you can do:
Expired documents: Make sure none of your required documents such as your license or registration have expired.
Pending document review: If you’ve recently uploaded new documents, they might still be under review. Please wait for the confirmation.
Outside service area: You might be trying to drive in an area that is outside of your registered city or our service limits.
App update needed: Ensure you have the latest version of the Uber App installed on your phone.
Account issues: Your account could be temporarily disabled if there was a report of an accident or incident.
If there’s been an accident or incident reported, your account may be temporarily inactive while we look into it.
Location or Connection Issues: Check if your phone’s location settings are turned on and if you have a strong internet connection.
Common reasons include:
You’re driving outside the service area of your signup city. Do you want to drive in a new city?
Your rating is too low. Learn how you can improve your ratings.
