• Overlapping: Retailers that are listed on each of the Uber Eats, Postmates, and Drizly marketplaces, but are not on Bring Your Own Courier. Drizly is powering their Uber Eats and Postmates inventory. These retailers have Uber-issued tablets to manage Uber Eats and Postmates orders.
• Uber Eats and Postmates Only: Retailers that only have a marketplace relationship with Uber Eats and Postmates. However, their Uber Eats and Postmates store inventory and hours will be powered via Drizly integrations.

Why is Drizly powering inventory for Uber Eats and Postmates?

Drizly’s direct point-of-sale (POS) system integration allows your store to participate in our new, enhanced shopping experience – all while managing your store’s inventory directly from your POS.

This integration will match your Drizly, Uber Eats and Postmates inventory by listing all of your Drizly alcohol inventory and relevant extras, while also enabling real time updates (quantities, prices, OOS items, etc.). This catalog enhancement will increase your visibility on Uber Eats and Postmates and, in turn, will help drive more orders and a higher repeat order rate by appealing to more shoppers!

(Uber Eats and Postmates Only) Why do I have to go through Drizly if I’m only on Uber Eats and Postmates?

Each qualifying Uber Eats and Postmates store will be migrated into this new inventory management system, regardless of if they are also a partner listed on Drizly. This integration allows your store to seamlessly connect your inventory directly from your point-of-sale (POS) systems to the Uber Eats and Postmates platforms. Your new inventory management system, powered by Drizly’s POS integrations, will enable your store to match your inventory on the Uber Eats and Postmates platforms and manage your stock levels directly from your POS system. This means your store can capture more shoppers with consistent inventory and delight existing shoppers with more accurate stock levels.

(Overlapping) Why do I have to go through Drizly if I’m also on Uber Eats and Postmates?

Your new inventory management system will enable your store to match your inventory on the Uber Eats and Postmates platforms and manage your item availability directly from your one inventory management tool. I don’t want to use my POS integration or have my Drizly inventory on Uber Eats and Postmates, can I opt-out of this integration?

At this time, all qualifying Uber Eats and Postmates stores will be migrating to this new inventory management system. We understand that this shift in inventory management tools might impact the way you approach merchandising at your store. However, our insights show that a consistent inventory can help your store capture more orders and loyal Uber Eats and Postmates shoppers. Additionally, this direct integration system has helped Drizly stores save valuable time by eliminating the need to update inventory across multiple platforms.

Why is Drizly authorized to share my integrated inventory with Uber?

As a Drizly partner, according to section 6(b) of our terms and conditions, you’ve agreed to allow Drizly and its partners, including Uber, the right to use your inventory information to conduct business. As an Uber Eats and Postmates partner, according to section 19.g. of our terms and conditions, you’ve agreed to allow Uber to integrate with other platforms, and share your inventory, pricing and store location information to facilitate those integrations.

In accordance with your agreements, Drizly and Uber have worked to build an improved inventory management system to better support your online business. This new integration will help your store match your online inventory, display live item quantities, and participate in Uber Eats’ and Postmates’ new online shopping experiences.
