Set up your Clover integration with Uber Eats

About Uber Eats + Clover

Uber Eats is an online platform that enables customers to order food for delivery or pickup. The Uber Eats + Clover integration allows you to connect your Clover POS with Uber Eats so your menu, pricing, item availability, and orders are synced between systems, streamlining order management and reducing duplicate work on menu management.


Follow the setup for new Uber Eats merchants if you:

  • Are new to Uber Eats and need to create an account
  • Don’t have an Uber Eats contract yet for this store location
  • Have never delivered with Uber Eats before
  • Previously had an Uber Eats contract that has since expired and need to sign a new contract

Follow the setup for existing Uber Eats merchants if you:

  • Already have an active Uber Eats account
  • Already signed a contract with Uber Eats for this store
  • Are currently taking orders on Uber Eats (or have in the past) and just need to connect your Clover POS
  • Have an active, unexpired contract with Uber Eats

Set up for new Uber Eats merchants

Step 1: Start your sign-up

Follow the Getting Started with Uber Eats Integration guide on Clover’s support site to start your sign-up for Uber Eats with Clover. Once you reach the step that prompts you to add your Uber Eats account, please follow the instructions below.

If you do not have an Uber Eats account, select Sign Up, and you will be taken to the Uber Eats site to create your account.

Step 2: Create an Uber Eats account

During this step, you’ll:

  • Provide contact details: Enter your email address and contact information
  • Verify your email: Check your inbox for a verification email from Uber Eats and follow the instructions
  • Create your password: Set up a secure password for your Uber Eats account
  • Set up multi-factor authentication: Add an extra layer of security to protect your account

Step 3: Choose your pricing plan

Review the available pricing plans and select the one that best fits your business needs. You’ll be able to:

  • Compare plan features and commission rates
  • Review what’s included in each plan

Take your time to understand the differences between plans before making your selection.

Step 4: Provide business information

You’ll need to enter information about your business and store, including:

  • Business details: Legal business name, business type, and other company information
  • Store details: Store name, address, hours of operation, and contact information
  • Store verification: Confirm your store location and business information

Make sure all information is accurate, as this will appear on your Uber Eats storefront.

Step 5: Set up payments and tax information

To receive payments from Uber Eats orders, you’ll need to provide:

  • Banking information: Bank account details where you’d like to receive payments
  • Tax information: Required tax documentation for your business

Have your banking details and tax documents ready to complete this step.

Step 6: Complete setup and go live

Once you’ve completed all the required information:

  • Review the agreement summary
  • Complete the final setup steps
  • Your integration will be activated

What happens next:

After completing the sign-up flow, visit Uber Eats Manager to review your storefront and make sure everything looks correct, including your menu, pricing, store hours, and store information.


Set up if you already have an Uber Eats contract

Step 1: Start the integration from Clover

Navigate to your Clover dashboard and look for the Uber Eats integration setup. Select the option Connect.

Step 2: Log in to your Uber Eats account

You’ll be redirected to Uber Eats to authenticate your existing account:

  • Enter your Uber Eats login credentials
  • Complete multi-factor authentication if prompted
  • Authorize Clover to connect with your Uber Eats account

Step 3: Select your store

If you have multiple stores on Uber Eats:

  • Choose which store you want to connect to your Clover POS
  • Confirm the store details match your Clover location

Step 4: Activate the integration

  • Confirm that your menu from Clover is available for the integration activation
  • Select a date to activate your integration
  • On the day you selected, your integration will be activated

What happens next: Your menu, pricing, and availability will sync between Clover and Uber Eats. Visit Uber Eats Manager to verify everything is working correctly.


Troubleshooting

My store hasn’t gone live yet

If you’ve completed sign-up but your store isn’t live:

Your menu needs to be ready and synced from Clover before your store can go live on Uber Eats.

What to do:

  • Verify that you’ve created and finalized your menu in Clover
  • Contact Clover support to confirm your menu has been sent to Uber Eats
  • If Clover support confirms the menu was sent but your store still isn’t live after a few hours, contact Uber support for assistance

I’m having trouble with my menu

If you need help creating, editing, or managing your menu:

Contact Clover support. They can help you:

  • Set up your menu in Clover
  • Troubleshoot menu sync issues
  • Update menu items, prices, or availability

Your menu is managed through Clover, so Clover support is best equipped to help with menu-related questions.

I was redirected away from the sign-up flow

If you were redirected to Uber Eats Manager during sign-up, this may happen if you already have an Uber Eats account. In this case:

  • Make sure the store you are trying to set up has completed onboarding
  • Navigate to your Clover portal and click on the option to “Log in to Uber Eats account” under “Already have an Uber Eats contract?”
  • Follow the steps to activate your integration

If you continue to have issues, contact Uber support for guidance.

I can’t complete a specific step

If you’re stuck on a particular step:

  • Double-check that all required fields are filled out completely and accurately
  • Make sure you’ve verified your email address if required
  • Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache
  • If the issue persists, contact Uber support with details about which step you’re stuck on
