Member Management via SFTP and Trip Setup

How do I configure SFTP?

To configure SFTP:

  1. Go to the admin portal at business.uber.com.
  2. Select the user icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select Settings > Integrations > Health SFTP.

See more details on SFTP here.

How often can I send SFTP files?

New files can be updated at any time.

How does managing members work using SFTP?

When a new member ID is added, the system will create a new member. When uploading an existing member ID, the new information in the file will overwrite the current details in the system.

Files are uploaded using Term by Absence logic.

  • If a member is not included on the file, the member will be termed as of the date of the last uploaded file with that member present.
  • If a member is not included on the file with the same plan, the eligibility for the existing plan will be termed as of the last date of the last uploaded file with that member and plan present.

How does member re-enrollment work?

To restore a member profile and past activity, the same member ID must be used when re-enrolling the member. If a different member ID is used, it’ll be treated as a new member profile.

How do I tie a member to a plan and corresponding trip policies/benefits?

After creating a plan, you can update a member’s profile with the corresponding plan ID and start/end date. A member can have multiple plans. When requesting a ride, coordinators will be prompted to select the appropriate plan.

How do I request a trip for a member?

To request a trip:

  1. Go to the member profile.
  2. Select Request trip on the top right corner. If the member has saved addresses or past trips, you can select the address at the top of the page to create a pre-populated ride with their past information.
  3. Fill out the pickup and dropoff location.
  4. Select Request now or Set up ride.

Alternatively, in the new ride request form, you can begin typing a member’s name. Saved members will appear, allowing you to select one and automatically fill in the saved information.
