Uber Cash is an Uber pre-payment method that replaces Uber credits in the app. It can only be used for rides and meal requests in the country.
An Uber Cash balance can be added from different sources: gift cards, support adjustments, promotional credits, Amex Premium benefits or Uber Cash purchases. All of them will appear in your app as Uber Cash balance.
It's also possible to purchase Uber Cash as an exchange. In this situation, users receive in Uber Cash the equivalent amount of his exchange. Uber Cash does not apply to family profiles.

HOW TO USE UBER CASH?
1. After defining your destination, select the bar with the travel and payment profile option. If you have more than one profile, select the one you want to use.
2. Select UBER CASH. You will know that Uber Cash is applied if the flag is on the right side.
ARE UBER CASH PURCHASES REFUNDABLE?
Uber Cash can be refunded if your remaining balance is at least R$5.00 and has already been purchased by card. Any Uber Cash balance purchased in the form of an exchange for a cash-paid trip is non-refundable.
If you want to request a refund for an Uber Cash purchase:

In that case, you will receive an email with a PIN to redeem your Uber Cash balance at any time.
This is valid for Uber Cash purchases. It is not valid for gift card balances, promotions and other sources. Any balance coming from other sources than Uber Cash will be permanently lost if your account is deleted.
